The Platinum Card from American Express
Having a 750 credit score also lets you earn double the travel points on plane ticket purchases. The Platinum Card® from American Express earns 5x Membership Rewards® Points for flights booked directly with airlines or with American Express Travel, up to $500,000 on these purchases per calendar year, and earns 5x Membership Rewards® points on prepaid hotels booked with American Express Travel.
Cardholders can get up to $200 back in statement credits each year on prepaid Fine Hotels + Resorts® or The Hotel Collection bookings with American Express Travel when they pay with their Platinum Card®. The Hotel Collection requires a minimum two-night stay.
Also, select one qualifying airline and then receive up to $200 in statement credits per calendar year when incidental fees are charged by the airline to your Card.

Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card

This card does have a $149 annual fee. But once you redeem the annual $75 travel credit, the effective annual fee is $74. Seventy-four dollars is less than the mid-tier Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card of $99, which offers fewer travel benefits.
Citi Double Cash Card

You will need a fair, good, to excellent credit score for this card. Even with a 750 credit score, cash rewards can be a better reward option. The Citi® Double Cash Card has one of the highest cash back rates as you get 2% back on every purchase. Cardholders earn 1% cash back when they buy plus 1% cash back once they pay for the purchase. To earn cash back, you must pay at least the minimum due on time.
While this is one of the best travel credit cards with no annual fees, there is a 3% foreign transaction fee. You will want to consider using another card on this list if you travel abroad and still want to earn rewards points. Or, consider one of these best credit cards for international travel.
The Blue Cash Preferred Card from American Express
Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express is ideal for maximizing your daily spending:
- 6% cash back at U.S. supermarkets, up to $6,000 per year in purchases (then 1%)
- 6% cash back on select U.S. streaming subscriptions
- 3% cash back on transit, including taxis/rideshare, parking, tolls, trains, buses, and more
