Short bio: Born in UK, raised in Greece, I studied sociology and did an MBA before realizing that travel is what I want to be doing. In 2008, aged 36 I ‘conquered’ my final country, Equatorial Guinea, but this was not enough – I then founded NomadMania, which divides the world into 1301 regions, a challenge for all major travellers to complete! I’ve been busy ever since managing the project, which is a non-profit that awards travel scholarships and which strives to develop a community of dedicated serious travellers. I travel at least 200 days a year mixing short-haul European trips with adventurous escapades around the globe. I’ve authored the book ‘The Curious Case of William Baekeland’, a case which became an episode of the HBO Series ‘Generation Hustle’ in which I also appear.
